Realme P4 Power smartphone with a 10001 mAh battery is OFFICIAL
Realme is about to launch what might be the most interesting smartphone in India right now. The company has confirmed that the Realme P4 Power 5G will officially debut on January 29 at 12 PM IST, and the headline feature is a battery capacity that sounds almost ridiculous. We are talking about a 10,001mAh cell, which makes this the first commercial smartphone in India to cross the 10,000mAh barrier. That is more capacity than many power banks, and it raises the obvious question of whether anyone actually needs a phone battery this big.
Why is Realme hyping this ‘Titan’ battery so much?
Realme has given this massive battery cell a special name, calling it the Titan Battery. The company is positioning the entire phone around extreme endurance, which makes sense when you consider the numbers they are claiming. According to Realme, the P4 Power will deliver around 32.5 hours of continuous video streaming on a single charge. After two hours of gaming, the battery should still retain about 86 percent of its charge. For standby time, Realme says you can leave the phone untouched for over 31 days and it will still have juice left.
These are not normal smartphone battery claims. Most flagship phones today struggle to make it through a full day of heavy use. Budget and mid range devices with smaller batteries often need a midday top up if you are using them constantly. The P4 Power is targeting people who want genuine multi day battery life without thinking about chargers at all. Students who spend long hours on campus, travelers who are constantly on the move, mobile gamers who play for extended sessions, or anyone who regularly finds themselves far from charging points could benefit from this kind of endurance.
For someone who needs a smartphone that can accomodate the workload and screen time, the Realme P4 Power is a smartphone that should definitely be on your watchlist, given that the official release date is also not too far away.
The technology that makes this battery plausible
Having a 10,001mAh battery is impressive, but it also creates challenges. Batteries that large tend to make phones heavy and bulky. They also degrade faster if not engineered properly, which means the battery health drops significantly after a year or two of regular use. Realme seems aware of these issues and has made some specific claims about how they are addressing them.
The company says the battery is built with advanced health technology designed to minimize long term degradation. They claim the battery will maintain 80 percent of its health even after 1,650 charging cycles. For context, most smartphone batteries start showing noticeable degradation after 500 to 800 cycles. Realme is also offering a special warranty for early buyers. If your battery health drops below 80 percent within the first four years of use, the company will replace it at no additional cost. That kind of warranty suggests Realme has confidence in the battery’s longevity.
The phone weighs 219 grams, which is definitely on the heavier side but not absurdly so considering the battery size. For comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max weighs around 221 grams with a much smaller 4,685mAh battery. Realme has managed to keep the P4 Power relatively practical in terms of weight and dimensions, though we will need to wait for hands on reviews to see how it actually feels to carry and use every day.

So, what about fast charging?
You might think a 10,001mAh battery would take forever to charge, but Realme is including 80W wired fast charging support. That should get the phone from empty to full in somewhere between 30 to 40 minutes, which is genuinely impressive for such a large capacity. The phone also supports 27W reverse charging, which means you can use it as a power bank to charge other devices. That feature makes practical sense when your phone has more battery capacity than most actual power banks.
What you need to know about the Realme P4 Power aside from the battery
The P4 Power is not just about battery life. Realme has equipped it with a 6.78 inch AMOLED display that features a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen offers 1.5K resolution, which sits between standard Full HD and Quad HD. Peak brightness is claimed to be 6,500 nits, though that number likely refers to a small portion of the screen in specific conditions rather than the full panel. The display supports HDR10+ and Netflix HDR, and Realme is calling it a HyperGlow 4D Curve+ panel, which suggests it has curved edges.
Under the hood, the phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. This is essentially a slightly overclocked version of the regular Dimensity 7400, which is a capable mid range processor that handles everyday tasks smoothly and can manage moderate gaming without issues. Realme has also included a HyperVision+ AI chip to handle AI related tasks and improve visual processing. The combination should deliver smooth performance for most users, though this is not a flagship chip like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Dimensity 9400.

For photography, the P4 Power features a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor as the main camera with optical image stabilization. There is also an 8MP ultra wide camera at the back, and a 16MP front camera for selfies. This is a pretty standard setup for a mid range device. The Sony sensor should deliver decent image quality in good lighting, and the OIS will help with low light shots and video stabilization.
Realme has revealed a transparent design aesthetic for the Realme P4 Power that it calls TransView Design. The phone will come in three color options: TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue. Based on the images Realme has shared, the design looks similar to the Realme GT series with a transparent panel on the back that shows off some of the internal components. The frame is made of plastic rather than metal, which helps keep the weight down.
The phone is also rated for IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, which means it can survive being submerged in water and can handle high pressure water jets. That level of protection is not common in mid range smartphones and adds to the durability angle Realme is pushing.
What about the software?
The Realme P4 Power will ship with Android 16 based Realme UI 7.0 right out of the box. That makes it one of the first phones in India to launch with Android 16, which Google just released. Realme is promising three years of major OS updates and four years of security patches, which matches what many flagship manufacturers offer. That means you should get Android updates through 2029 and security patches through 2030, which is solid long term support.
The software will include various AI features that Realme has been adding to its recent devices. These include AI Light Me for generating lighting effects in photos, AI Style Me for turning pictures into cartoons and 3D emojis, and AI Smart Reply that can automatically draft responses to messages while you are gaming. Whether these features are actually useful or just marketing gimmicks remains to be seen.

Pricing and Availability
Realme has not officially announced pricing yet, but leaks suggest the P4 Power could be priced around Rs 37,999, though the actual launch price might differ. That would put it in the upper mid range segment, competing against devices like the POCO F7, OnePlus Nord series, and Samsung’s Galaxy A series phones. Given the specifications and especially the massive battery, that pricing seems reasonable if it turns out to be accurate.
The phone will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Realme’s official website starting from the launch day on January 29. Realme usually offers launch day discounts and bank offers, so the effective price might end up being lower than the list price for early buyers.
